I’m not ready to go
But I’m tired of this fight
I’m not ready to go
But when I do,
I know I’ll see you

I’m not ready to go
My kids aren’t grown yet
I’m not ready to go
People need me here

I’m not ready to go
I haven’t seen the world
I’m not ready to go
I’ve things still to accomplish

I’m not ready to go
I haven’t met my grandkids yet
I’m not ready to go
My daughter hasn’t walked down the isle

I’m not ready to go
I’m the only parent they have left
I’m not ready to go
I’m far to young for that

I’m not ready to go
I’ve just learned of real love
I’m not ready to go
My career isn’t through

I’m not ready to go
But I’m tired of this fight
I’m not ready to go
But when I do

I know I’ll see you
